Is the EL S618 really waterproof? There’s only one way to find out. Don’t try this at home, kids! Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know the drill. Keeping Things Waterproof: EL S618 Pointers

So, now you know the EL S618 is most definitely waterproof, but there’s a few precautions you should take to be sure your EL device remains in the best condition.

  • Don’t immerse deeper than 1.5 metres
  • Don’t keep the device submerged for longer than 30 minutes
  • Don’t expose to fast paced water i.e. waterfalls or waves
  • Wipe your device clean of water with a suitable cloth
  • Rinse the device in fresh water is used in liquids that might compromise parts of the device, i.e. salt water or ionised water, and dry with a suitable cloth
